About

Hello world!

We’re two Canadian siblings who discovered travelling in our 20s. We wanted to share our experiences with the world and encourage everyone to try to fit a little bit of travel into their lives.

Let’s face it, many of us would love to quit our day jobs, book a one-way ticket to the other side of the world and become fully immersed in the travel life. But there’s often one reason or another that prevents you from doing it. Whether it be your need to meet society’s expectations of the proper life path, or maybe it’s family or a significant other, deciding to pick up your life and just travel full time is a big commitment.

I’ll be honest, as much as we’d love to pick up and become a full time travel bloggers and constantly be exploring our beautiful world, it’s difficult to leave our current (and very amazing) lives behind. So we try to take as many little mini getaways whenever life gives me us bit of a break. Sometimes it’s just for a weekend, other times it’s for weeks. But I want to give you some different options about how you can still have a travel filled life while maintaining a stereotypical 9-5 office job.

Hi! I’m Ngoc.

I first discovered travelling in 2012 and have since just continued to fall more and more in love with our beautiful world. I’m a budget-conscious, fly by the seat of my pants type of traveller that often travels on my own. I prefer hostels over 5 star hotels, and I’m constantly on the hunt for “divey” or off the beaten path restaurants. I’m sharing my experiences in hopes that I can help others live a more travel-filled life.

Cheers! xo

Hi! I’m Dave.

Although most people would say I’m more of a flash packer now and days, I have my share of stories from roughing it out as a backpacker. I’m addicted to adventure and love trying new things, whether it be completing the most dangerous hike in the world at Hua Shan, or Scuba Diving with sharks in Belize, I’m constantly looking for new things to do.
